I mustache you a question....

The week before I left for CHA in Las Vegas, I was upstairs working on show designs and William wanted to join me, so I brought him upstairs, sat him in a chair and gave him some tools to play with....I know brave, right?  But it only took a few minutes for him to find the fuzzy mustache sticker laying on the table and I was thrilled that he let me put it on him and take pictures!  Of course, this was a two person job....thanks to Andrea Ancich for helping me!

I can't wait to scrap those photos!  But to share with you a bit of what I was working on:
Simple Stories has 3 fabulous new full lines out...and believe me, you are going to want every piece of every one!  I had a little taste getting to work with the paper prototypes, but I can't wait to get my hands on the real thing and all the amazing embellishments too!
First up is Say Cheese..... there is a Disney mini binder in my future with this one!
Next up is the new school themed line, Smarty Pants:
and finally the new December Documented:
Remember, these are created from just the paper .... Just think what you could create with the whole line!

Hampton Arts!

I have been loving working for the Hampton Arts Design Team!  With limited stamping experience, I am enjoying the challenge of learning to use my stamps, inks & markers in new ways!  For this layout, I played with my Copic markers....I think I'm addicted!
I started out stamping the arrow, the small flower and the larger flower multiple times on my stamping paper with navy ink.  Then I colored them in with my markers being careful to coordinate the colors to match both the Kiss Me Collection and the Love & Marriage Collection.  Then I cut out the images and used them as embellishments on my layout. The flowers became a banner that I hung under my photo and I used the arrows to add direction and draw your eyes to my photo. I love how the stamp sets have so much versatility...after all I used the Sand & Surf set for my wedding layout!

July ..... oh my, this year is going by fast!

July 8th....really?  I know it's a cliché, but where has the year gone?  It really has flown by...more than half a year gone by and less than 6 months till Christmas. Wow....that's all there is to say, Wow.

CHA is only a couple weeks away and I'm getting ready for the second shopping trip of the year for the store and I'm pretty excited!  The goodies that I've seen previews for already are amazing!  I love that I have my own store that I can shop for....hopefully all my members like the same things I do!

Speaking of scrapbooking supplies, here are some fun new designs for a couple of my favorite companies!

Simple Stories has an amazing summer release out right now, I {Heart} Summer....is fantastic!

Next up is the new release from Jillibean Soup, Happy Camper!  We didn't get to spend too much time camping this year, but we enjoyed our S'mores at home anyway!

Also Jillibean Soup, here is the first of the layouts with Austin's Senior Pictures:
And a couple layouts just for fun...no assignments, just playing with all the yummy scrappin' goodies in my stash:

I realized this weekend as I was playing in my art loft, that half the year had gone by and I could count on one hand the number of times that I've spent the afternoon crafting just for fun....just to get messy and create.  This needs to happen much more often....that is my goal!

Jillibean Soup Blog Hop!

Hello!  Welcome to your next stop on the Happy Camper Stew Blog Hop!  Isn't this a fantastic Collection?  I hope you have been enjoying all the wonderful creations that we are sharing with you...

At our house, the favorite part of hitting the beach or going camping is always the evening campfire and roasting s'mores.  Last year, we had a big family wedding to plan and prep for and we didn't get a chance to even think about taking a trip.  However, we did think about s'mores...so we perfected the art of oven baked s'mores!

When I saw this sheet with the 3x4 cards, I knew I'd be highlighting the s'mores card in my layout!
