Harvest Lane...

I got to play today... finally!  I snuck upstairs when the boys were rnning errands and cleaning out the shed and enjoyed a few hours in my art loft!  Boy have I missed it!  I have lots of new goodies to play with but I chose the brand new Simple Stories collection, Harvest Lane.  It has been calling my name for weeks now and it was time to dive in!

Am I the only one that has a bit of trouble cutting into my favorite lines of paper?  It always takes me some time to get started...especially with this fabulous stuff!

But when I do, I'm never disappointed!  This line is amazing - the color combo it to die for!

You can find this amazing collection in stores now!  In fact, if you want to get your hands on it, just let me know because I have the collection kits in stock at SCRAP HAPPY DEALS right now for 20% off!

Jillibean Soup!

Ahhh....Jillibean Soup!  Those of you that know my scrappin' style, know that Jillibean Soup is just my thing!  I love all the prints that coordinate....and not just within each collection.  Their papers coordinate across the collections...they all work perfectly together for all kinds of layouts and cards!
These layouts use papers from the new Soup Staples collection, the new Grandma's Lima Bean collection, the new Country Pumpkin collection, and the new Winter Tortellini collection and I used them for general everyday photos!

Love, love, love me some Jillibean Soup!

the CUTEST Grandson!

Of course, I'm biased but I'm sure you agree that he's pretty stinkin' cute!

this next group of photos aren't the best quality, but I was laughing hard when I was taking them, and I'm kept shaking the camera!  William was playing with his twin in the mirror....

Take a Hike!

teehee.....gotta love a new scrapbook collection with a name like that!  Simple Stories has a new release that is AMAZING as usual...

It's yummy....the colors, the prints, the elements....all yummy! I was lucky enough to play with the prototypes back in July..... and I can't wait to dig in to the real thing this week.  But before I do, i wanted to share my CHA designs with you:

You can find this new collection at your favorite local scrapbook store!

CHA & the Scrap Happy Deals Crop!

CHA was in Chicago this year and it was even hotter there than it was in Topeka!

Andrea & I flew into Midway airport instead of O'Hare and thus had to get ourselves a rental car.....we ended up with a tiny little car that had Washington plates.  Go figure!  We stuffed that little car and headed to Rosemont.

We met up with Sherry, Lynn and Debbie at the hotel and then crammed ourselves back in that little car for a trip to the grocery store. So thankful for good friend....

We enjoyed dinner at the Outback that night and even got to visit with Sher who was in town with her family....how cool was that?  I wish I had a photo....but somehow I missed that opportunity!

The next day we enjoyed some classes and then headed out for Chicago Style pizza....

Then came the show...for the next three days we would walk the isles of scrappin' goodness and get to visit with all our friends in the industry:

Lisa Pace...

Kimber McGray...

When it came time to pack up, our little car was just a little bit overloaded....

and when we made it to the airport, Ms. Andrea was thankful for an early boarding passport to help with a bit of flying anxiety...

Okay, a little bit of faking sleep there, but just goes to show that we had fun from the moment we left Seatac to the moment we arrived home.....love this girl!

About a week after we got home we had the first semi-annual Scrap Happy Deals crop!  It was tons of fun and everyone got to check out all the samples and catalogs and get a little taste of the fun Andrea and I had while we were there.

We were so productive!  Here is a glimpse at the things I worked on...
