National Scrapbook Day!

Wow...it's been a few years since I actually scrapped on National Scrapbook Day.  In fact, I'm not sure I ever have.  I know that I used to work at the store every year on this day...but not sure if I ever scrapped.  Well this year with the wedding right around the corner and my anxiety going through the roof, I decided last minute to join Sherry and her Puyallup group of scrappers at their crop!  I am so glad I did!  I had a ton of fun, laughed a bunch, and even got a handful of layouts done!

The new kit is up from Dixie Pieces!  Okay, I have to be honest....at first glance, I thought - what am I going to do with such a frilly kit?  But, oh my gosh...I was so surprised!  These are some of my recent favorite layouts for sure...and you know what?  They are even about boys!

Hello there....my name is Kim and I am a slacker.  I have not blogged in over 2 weeks.  I am in recovery and my goal is to get back in the groove and blog at least 3 times a week.  Please hold me accountable.

Okay, there I've said it out loud.  There has been so much going on around here lately...the baby has been here every day, baseball is crazy, the business is booming, there has been a birthday and a bridal shower and to top it all off, we have less than a month till the wedding. There you go....all my excuses why I haven't blogged in FOR-EVER.  Please tell me it's okay, that you haven't abandoned me, and that you are still interested.  I need you!

Playing Catch-up!

Well the countdown to the wedding has started...and it seems I have no time for any usual activities like scrappin' or bloggin'!  But, I have a few minutes today in between cleaning, baseball and a bridal shower, so I thought I would at least post the few things I accomplished at the retreat a couple weeks ago!

Honestly, I spent most of the retreat online, catching up with emails, spreadsheets and ordering for the store....but, I did manage to play a few rounds of BOSSY SCRAPPER!  Love that Andrea always knows how to help my mojo along!

There you have it....the extent of my scrappin' at a 2 day retreat!  I know....usually I can manage like 20 layouts!  But, I love them nonetheless and am thankful for the down time to relax, catch up, and visit with my girlfriends!
